Jason on Missionary Trip to Ethiopia

Finally, my long overdue blog update!  A big thanks to Mark for updating our website and bringing us into the era of technology at North Metro!  I am so proud to serve as the evangelist here at the North Metro church and look forward to our future endeavors.  The picture above is from a recent mission trip to Ethiopia.  The congregation here sponsored myself and two other members in conducting a fact finding mission.  What we found was troubling.  Women and children living in terrible conditions without hope.  One of our duties as stewards of the kingdom is to give people hope.  The bible tells us that hope saves us.  We can't possibly help all the people that need some kind of financial assistance but we can provide them with hope by blessing them with the love of Jesus Christ.  That is our goal as a church.  To illustrate the love of Jesus Christ to the world and to provide hope for the broken hearted and marginalized.  My personal prayer is that God would use me to show others how much he really loves them.
