About the North Metro Congregation:
The North Metro Church of Christ was established in 1965 by the
hard work of two congregations (North Highlands and Whitney Ave)
that merged and purchased the property. During that time, the
North Metro Church of Christ was the largest Church of Christ in
Sacramento with an average attendance of nearly 500 members.
Today, the congregation is made up of approx. 115 members from
different ethnicities ranging from African American, Caucasian,
Latino, Asian, to Pacific islanders. We are a growing congregation
that is all about evangelism! We have a large number of youth that
are very active in the kingdom. It is our goal that we become a
contagious church just like the one that we read about in Acts
chapter 2. We are a congregation that loves to get together and just
fellowship!
