Our studies for the Month of April:
Every month our congregation collectively studies a book or topic that deals with some aspect of
Christian maturity.  This month we are studying the book
of Romans and 1st Corinthians.  During our
bible classes on Sunday morning, a survey on the book or Romans is being conducted.  Our
Wednesday night classes are devoted to completing a
study on 1st Corinthians.  Both of these studies
are important to our church as a whole because they help us to better understand our roles as servants
of the cross.
Church News:
Sadly, our beloved Sis. Alberta Johnson passed away on March 30, 2008.  She was a great woman of
faith who was converted by Roy and Dorthy Speights.  Alberta will be missed.  On another note, we are
pleased to announce that two people placed membership with us during the month of March.  Brett
Peterson was immersed into Christ on March 9th and Shelley Wright was restored to Christ and placed
membership with us.  Let's remember to keep our new family in our prayers!

What's new at the
North Metro Church of Christ
PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA
Our evangelist recently took a mission trip to Port Elizabeth, South
Africa.  His mission was to spread the gospel to the surrounding
community and to needy children.  Our congregation raised 5,600
South African rand to help feed children and support an HIV/AIDS
center.  The photo to the right is a picture of some of the children
we helped to feed during the month of April.
